OCTC is excited to announce that our Safety and Sustainability Committee will be meeting in March in Cincinnati. We are still finalizing the agenda, but we are planning to have discussions on emissions, waste and water use, cybersecurity, and IH monitoring. The event will also include a networking lunch prior to the meeting and a post event networking opportunity at a nearby watering hole.
The meeting will take place on Monday, March 23 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm and will be hosted at Trihydro's offices in Cincinnati. A virtual option is available, however, the S&S committee strongly encourages in-person attendance at all meetings. This event is free to attend for all OCTC members in good standing and our invited guests. A detailed agenda will be shared soon.
About the Safety and Sustainability Committee
The Safety & Sustainability Committee provides a venue for OCTC members to share experiences regarding environmental, safety, health, security, and sustainability matters. The committee identifies best practices, lessons learned, and relevant trends for the purpose of reducing risk, advancing accident prevention programs, and developing sustainability programs to expand knowledge in chemical process and personal safety at member operating facilities. The committee supports the use of good science and public policy while promoting and serving member interests.
