Safety & Sustainability Committee Meeting
Monday, March 23, 2026 (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
OCTC is excited to announce that our Safety and Sustainability Committee will be meeting in March in Cincinnati. We are still finalizing the agenda, but we are planning to have discussions on emissions, waste and water use, spill response, and IH monitoring. The event will also include a networking lunch prior to the meeting and a post event networking opportunity at a nearby watering hole.

Agenda
Check out our agenda for our upcoming Safety and Sustainability Committee meeting later this month in Cincinnati. The afternoon kicks off with a networking lunch at noon, followed by four presentations covering a range of EHS topics.
Univar Solutions will share common sense approaches to reducing waste and fleet emissions at the plant level. Cox-Colvin & Associates will walk through lessons learned from facility response plan failures and what it means to be truly OSRO-ready. Covestro and PSARA Technologies will team up to cover industrial hygiene monitoring including the basics of standing up a program and a broader overview of IH techniques and equipment relevant to chemical manufacturing. See the full agenda here.
About the Safety and Sustainability Committee
The Safety & Sustainability Committee provides a venue for OCTC members to share experiences regarding environmental, safety, health, security, and sustainability matters. The committee identifies best practices, lessons learned, and relevant trends for the purpose of reducing risk, advancing accident prevention programs, and developing sustainability programs to expand knowledge in chemical process and personal safety at member operating facilities. The committee supports the use of good science and public policy while promoting and serving member interests.
